Iuliu Hațieganu Medical and Pharmaceutical University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is the oldest medical education institution in Transylvania, originally founded in 1919 as the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Superior Dacia.

**List of Application Documents for Citizens of Third Countries (Non-EU Member States)**

1. Application Form (Dated and Signed)

3. Personal Data Processing Consent Form (Dated and Signed)

4. Screening Form (Dated and Signed)

5. Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Europass Format

* Europass CV, or equivalent CV written in the language of instruction

6. Statement of Purpose (Approximately 1-2 pages)

7. Diploma or Equivalent Certificate (See Appendix 5)

* Copy and certified translation by the relevant authorities in the issuing country

8. Baccalaureate Transcript (if applicable)
* Copy and certified translation by the relevant authorities in the issuing country

9. Transcripts for the last two years of high school
* Copy and certified translation by the relevant authorities in the issuing country

10. Documents proving eligibility for university entrance in your country of origin (as per Appendix 5)
* Copy and certified translation by the relevant authorities in the issuing country

11. Birth Certificate
* Copy and certified translation by the relevant authorities in the issuing country
* Note: If the name on your diploma does not match the name on your birth certificate, a certified explanation is required.

12. Copy of pages 1-4 of your passport
* Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the application submission date.
* Copies of identification cards (ID cards) will not be accepted.

13. Medical Examination Certificate
* Must be issued in Romanian, English, or French and include the following examination results:
* General physical examination
* Ophthalmological examination
* Otorhinolaryngological (ENT) examination
* Neurological examination
* Psychiatric examination
* The certificate must have been issued within the last six months, include information on chronic illnesses, and be signed and stamped by a family physician or specialist, and bearing the seal of the issuing medical institution.

14. Psychological Testing Certificate
* Psychological testing is mandatory for medical and dental school applicants.
* One of the following tests is recommended and will be advantageous in evaluation:
* NEO Personality Inventory Revised (NEO PI-R)
* Young Schema Questionnaire Short Version (YSQ-S1 or YSQ-S3)
* The certificate must have been issued within the last six months and be signed and stamped by the psychologist who administered the test.
* The university offers psychological testing online. Applicants can make a reservation by email to:

15. Language Proficiency Certificate (Minimum B2 level)
* Please refer to the section "How applicants can prove their language proficiency."

16. High School Course Accreditation Application Form (for university entrance qualification)
* The application form is available on the "International Student Admissions" page of the university website.

17. Proof of Payment
* Proof of payment of the non-refundable application processing fee must be uploaded to the platform.
Annual Tuition Fee: 10,000 Euros

What are the steps involved in applying to and taking the entrance exam for university?

1. Contact Us   Reservation for the information session

Please fill out the inquiry form with information such as your age, gender, high school grade (or graduation year), high school transcript, subjects you studied in high school, and English test scores (if applicable), and send it to us.

2. Online Information Session

Upon receiving your inquiry form, we will contact you to schedule an online information session. During the session, we will explain the characteristics of the Romanian Faculty of Medicine, the required application documents, and answer any questions you may have. We will have a thorough discussion.

3. Please choose one of our services.

After thorough discussion, you will decide which medical schools you will apply to. You will then select a package of application support and preparation courses (you can also choose to only apply). You will sign the selected support agreement and return it to us via email. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online.

4. Entrance Exam Preparation and Application

You should begin the application process and enroll in an entrance exam preparation course (some universities also conduct entrance exams in English or science) according to the application deadlines and exam dates of the universities you wish to apply to (or multiple universities if applying to several).
