The Faculty of Medicine offers an academic, diversified, and consistent educational system that encompasses the entire educational cycle of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, including internships and postdoctoral programs.

Arad's long and strong tradition of medicine and biology.

Support from local authorities and other involved decision-makers in both the fields of health and local administration.

Arad's geographical location that facilitates cross-border cooperation with similar institutions in neighboring countries.

Local community youth interest in medical and biological education (more than 30% of medical students in nearby university centers come from municipalities or counties in Arad).

The following is the 2026 application guidelines:

Admissions Screening -

Required Documents
1. Europass Curriculum
Curriculum in Europass format, or equivalent written in the language of the chosen course

2. Degree Certificate or Equivalent Qualification
Copy and certified translation (certified by the competent authority of the issuing country)
3. Baccalaureate Transcript (if applicable)
Copy and Certified Translation (certified by the competent authority of the issuing country)
4. High School Transcript (Grades 9-12/13)
Copy and Certified Translation (certified by the competent authority of the issuing country)
5. Birth Certificate
Copy and Certified Translation (certified by the competent authority of the issuing country)
*If the name on the diploma does not match the name on the birth certificate, a certified explanation must be submitted.
6. Copy of Passport (Pages 1-4)
The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of submission.
*Copies of identification cards (ID cards) are not accepted.
7. Medical Certificate
Issued in Romanian, English, or French, and must include the following:
• General Clinical Examination
• Ophthalmological Examination
• Otorhinolaryngological (ENT) Examination
• Neurological Examination
• Psychiatric Examination
*Must be issued within the last 6 months, include information on chronic diseases, and be signed and stamped by a family physician or specialist, as well as stamped by a medical institution.
8. Psychological Assessment Certificate
Required for applicants to the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Pharmacy.
*Must be issued within the last 6 months and signed and stamped by a psychologist.
9. Language Proficiency Certificate (Minimum B1 level)
10. Statement of Purpose (Written in the language of the study program being applied for)
11. Letter of Recommendation (Written by a teacher or volunteer activity supervisor in the language of the study program being applied for)
12. Other documents related to the selection process
13. Application for Letter of Acceptance
The form will be posted on the university website in the admissions section for international students.
*After filling out the form, attach a passport-size photograph (2.5 x 3.5 cm) and then scan it.
14. Proof of Payment
Upload proof of payment (or proof of online payment) of the non-refundable document processing fee to the application platform. Annual tuition fee: €11,000

What are the steps involved in applying to and taking the entrance exam for university?

1. Contact Us   Reservation for the information session

Please fill out the inquiry form with information such as your age, gender, high school grade (or graduation year), high school transcript, subjects you studied in high school, and English test scores (if applicable), and send it to us.

2. Online Information Session

Upon receiving your inquiry form, we will contact you to schedule an online information session. During the session, we will explain the characteristics of the Romanian Faculty of Medicine, the required application documents, and answer any questions you may have. We will have a thorough discussion.

3. Please choose one of our services.

After thorough discussion, you will decide which medical schools you will apply to. You will then select a package of application support and preparation courses (you can also choose to only apply). You will sign the selected support agreement and return it to us via email. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online.

4. Entrance Exam Preparation and Application

You should begin the application process and enroll in an entrance exam preparation course (some universities also conduct entrance exams in English or science) according to the application deadlines and exam dates of the universities you wish to apply to (or multiple universities if applying to several).
